Inside the modules

Module 1 — Recognize

  • Neurodiversity as a spectrum: autism, ADHD, dyslexia and related profiles.
  • Distinguishing masking from disinterest or noncompliance.
  • Reframing literal language, sensory reactions, and directness as strengths.
  • Sensory-overload perspective exercise and a private bias reflection worksheet.

Module 2 — Adapt

  • Low-cost environmental adaptations: lighting, noise, seating, written agendas.
  • Communication shifts: literal language, advance notice, written follow-up.
  • Informal adaptations vs. formal accommodation requests (ADA-aware).
  • Small-group redesign of one recurring meeting or process.

Module 3 — Include

  • One-time accommodation vs. sustained inclusion.
  • Psychological safety that supports disclosure without requiring it.
  • Embedding inclusion in hiring, onboarding, and performance systems.
  • Team action-planning canvas: three commitments due in 30 days.
